Lucy,
I came to this website via USC's web page and it is so great to hear that you are enjoying Germany, even if the complicated language is a big challenge.
I was an exchange student at USC in 2008 and I also had the best time of my life at the Sunshine Coast. Since then I always wanted to come back to Australia.
I am glad that you made a lot of friends in Germany, because I also know about the difficulties of an exchange semester.

I stopped by at this page by accident, but after having read your article I had to leave a message to wish you all the best and a remaining great time in Germany ;)

Since my studies in Australia I got a lot more open minded and I was/am travelling a lot since. At the moment I am doing an internship at German car maker BMW in Shenyang, China.

However my master plan is to come back to Australia after my final M.Sc. graduation.

I would be happy to hear from you via email.
If you ever have trouble with German language, I might be able to help you. So this is a friendly offer ;)

Enjoy your time.

Cheers Tobi
